Battle won

It's Saturday, and I'm in office!!!
Anyway, this week has been a mad rush for me, the week came, and the week passed. Got to admit that I've been feeling rather worn out recently, think I'm still adjusting to the transitions in my life. But I'll overcome... cos I am a OVERCOMER in CHRIST!!!

Went for Daryl's graduation last night... was super tired and my feet were killing me due to my heels. (The price of being ai mei... and i ended up walking like a granny for the night. =o)
Lyn led worhip and when we proceeded to the worship song, Down at Your Feet, I began to tear, and then I heard my Father's voice asking me if I remembered the covenant I made with Him 2 years back in 2006 when it was my graduation. My promise to Him that I will serve Him and be a vessel of His Light and Love wherever I go. To be His minister of restoration and healing.

And I knew that I have lost that vison somehow... due to busyness... due to my own selfishness..
Yet there was no condemnation in His reminder, instead, I was refreshed and His energy filled my heart as I worshipped Him.
That's who my God is.... and I know it'll always be a battle that I got to fight, to put Him first in everything, yet I know that I'm not alone in this fight, for my God will never ever loose his grip on me. Amen...

"Thus says the Lord,
Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
neither let the mighty man glory in his might,
let not the rich man glory in his riches:
but let him that glories glory in this,
that he understands and knows Me,
that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness,
judgement and righteousness in this earth,
for in these things I delight,
says the Lord."
Jeremiah 9:23-24
Amen! May I be the vessel and instrument for YOUR Name LORD.

Healthy lifestyle w grandpa!!

Went for my first healthy lifestyle outing with office some time back in April... and we went to PULAU UBIN!!
I was like... "hurray... can take the opportunity to visit grandpa!"
And so we went... it was a short afternoon break out of office together with my fellow colleagues.. and the best thing was that I got to see grandpa and also introed him to some of my colleagues.

And as always, grandad is soooooo hospitable. He'll always offer us his yummily delicious and refreshing coconuts.. which I accepted without hesitation! Yummy...
Then... it didn't take too long a time for my colleagues to take note of the numerous trays of plants, roots and herbs being sunned on the floor. AND my grandad, the grand master began explaining the goodness of each plant and root... and soon, he took us on a tour ard his "garden".
And then... he began plucking the flowers and leaves for my colleagues to eat!! Haha.. why am I not surprised...

Showing off his small guava fruit (think it's guava ba..)

When he first plucked something from the trees or bushes for them to eat, my colleagues' jaws all dropped down wide, and the first thing that all asked was, "don't have to wash meh?!!"

Haha.. and I wanna thank all the gals for being so sporty and for eating the flowers. That's the extent women will go for beauty's sake!! ;)

Thanks guys, you really made my grandad's day by chatting with him for that 30mins plus. =)

Last but not the least... our famous signboard!! Heard that my aunts are thinking of printing t-shirts to sell to tourist.. haha... so happening!!!
