Openwater diver!!!

Am back... back to reality... the underwater beauty and experience was wonderful!! Didn't really enjoy it on the 1st day though. Not enough rest and I was having problem with my mask. Was loose to begin with and somehow along the way, I broke the side clip while adjusting the mask.(smartie me) Especially during my first dive, water kept seeping into the mask and the water was irritating my eyes alot. Zaach saw it too when we were u/w and asked me to tighten the mask. At the 2nd dive, got a little better but water was still seeping in a lot and halfway through, Jackie switched mask with me. Muahahaa.... his mask was super pro and secure la.
When we went up to the surface, he showed me the spoilt mask.. hee.. luckily he didn't ask me to pay. At least not yet... (fingers crossed)

3rd dive onwards, was much more enjoyable with the change of mask and we were done with our drills so it was a leisure dive!!!
The 4th and 5th dives were my fav though. Sea turtle!!!!!

Joel's picts are super nice, and he got to see soooooo many things that I didn't! Hahaa.. well, guess tts the difference b/w a dive instructor and open water student. Motivating me to dive more!!

Anyway, it was a much needed, good getaway, had lots of fun. Fellowship was good too, furthermore, its the first OVERSEAS trip for mister mok and myself! ;)

Really blessed by God's word this morning. Was just telling mister mok last night that I feel as if I'm on maintenance mode. For my life, ministry, emotions and spiritual walk...and I'm not satisfied with status quo and I will have to improve on it.
Read about Abraham this morning and was led to read Hebrews 11. Am brought back to the basics of faith and the importance to keep getting faith.

Faith is the way to please God.
Faith moves mountains...
Faith empowers me to rise above my circumstances,
Faith that supplies boldness to do the things of God,
Faith that assures me of His plans for me, even when all I see ahead is a big ?
And faith can only be achieved, sustained and fueled by having a consistent, deep and intimate relationship with God Himself. The Giver and Essence of Faith.

I might not know what's ahead, but I do know that You hold my future in Your hands. Even if everything around me changes, You will never change and I can look towards you with trust and confidence, my Lord Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith.

Holiday moody!!

The holiday mood is setting in!! Can't wait to get out of the country and have fun and rest and relax and eat.... etc. Think I sound like I'll be going for a super long holiday.. but in actual fact, I'm only going away for a short weekend diving trip ... ... ... hah.!

Feeling a little nervous. First time going diving, dun really know what to expect... but I believe it'll be fun and a good experience. (hahaa.. sounds like I'm trying to assure and psyche myself)

But! Before I can go for my trip, I'll need to finish up on my Methodism assignment. The word limit is 3,000 words, but I have coming 4,000 words!! And I'm still not done it! Well.. at least I'm not short of things to write, so it can be considered as a good problem? .. anyway.. hope to finish by tonight, must get to it soon. sighh...

It's Jeremy Gan's birthday today and I managed to catch him online, just before his bedtime! Viewed some of the picts he took back on the Isle of Wight and they're so beautiful! They're like postcards quality...
