Merry X'mas and a Happy 2015!!

Blessed X'mas everyone!!
Our 1st X'mas as a family of 4!!
2014's X'mas holds a great significance for our family as we celebrate Mok's recovery and remember God's goodness and grace extended to us during the tough 3rd quarter of 2014 when Mok received treatment. Mok's recovery has been tremendous as we see great improvement in his tastebuds and restoration of physical and emotional strength.
Year 2014 has been a year of ups and downs for us yet we know that our God was never taken aback or overwhelmed by all that we were going through (like we were) but He was faithfully guiding us and strengthening our faith as we journey along with Him.
We thank God for blessing us with our dearest Eliora as she joins us for her 1st Christmas and New Year celebration! (Though I think it was more 'torturous' for her as the many consecutive parties threw her off her usual schedule and deprived her of much zzzzz!) Just as her name signifies that 'God is my guiding Light', He was our only source of Light during the last few months when the health episode sought to cloud our lives with darkness and fear. We experienced such great peace and surety instead of fear, strength and faith instead of weakness and most importantly love! This episode opened my eyes to the overwhelming love that our family and friends have for us. Thank you to my family who stood by us all the way, especially to my parents who aided us with the caregiving of our 2 kiddos thus releasing me to accompany Mok for his daily treatments. Thank you to all our friends who rendered us with tremendous support and prayers! We have been so blessed indeed... cheers to love and friendship!

A part of me is still in a state of disbelief that X'mas and New Year has come and gone in a blink of an eye. Time is flying by way too fast! My delivery of Eliora and Mok's treatment period seemed so far ago. Lets treasure all the time we have with our love ones and never forget to be a blessing unto others!! Cheers to 2015!

At 4-5months

Our darling gal is able to make cute sounds and will coo when she is happy. She is such a joy to see, especially in the morning as she would flash a wide grin to the 1st person she sees which is usually me! I have managed to drop the dream feed about 1 week already. Still monitoring if she is able to sustain last feed at 8-830pm.
Good sleep = happy baby!
She managed to flip at month 4 and she is almost unstoppable now. She would also reach out to grab things near to her and her fav past time is definitely finger sucking!

She weighs 6.55kg during her 4-month injection checkup.

She appears to be able to recognize faces well and at times would be upset when somebody foreign carries her.

Listening attentively to her fav story-teller!

Love this shot! Sweetness overload!
Car ride to her first overseas trip to JB-KSL!!
KSL! We survived!

Pulling herself up in the bouncer! We have a strong babe in the hse!

May they be the best play mates together!

Sitting in her bumbo seat at 4.5 months!!

Happily playing while the adults had our dinner!

E is ready for school!!

Today, E starts off his first day of pre-nursery school at DaySpring Kindergarten! We decided that Mok should be the one bringing him to school, at least till he settles in well (though I would very much like to be there!!). But it was a good decision any case as I suspect it would make it much harder for me him to part if I'm there.

In the morning, getting him to wear the uniform was quite a feat. Didn't help that the school uniform was not cute at all.. haha. We finally managed to coax him that school is cool and fun by showing him the photos of our friend's kiddos, beaming with joy in their school uniforms. Thanks to the Thams and Huangs!! ;)

Uniform and school shoes on at last!!
Looking so adorable in his uniform! (I'm bias I know!)
He apparently did really well during assembly time despite it being really chaotic with tons of crying kids (as described by Mok). However, Mok was ushered out of the hall real quick and he did not get to say a proper goodbye to E and that was the crunch!
Think E got scared when he turned around and papa was no longer there. which led to him being the LOUDest wailing kiddo in the hall!  (Heartache to the max!)

Mok managed to sneak in to the class soon after assembly and E was all good cos the teachers had brought out some toys for them to play! Mok was asked to leave the classroom soon after...

2 hours later, E was all jolly when Mok went back to pick him up and he had generally good remarks about school so guess its a good start?

The cool dude in the assembly hall!!

Mega Blocks saved the day! The only picture that Mok took in class!

My boy is turning 3 in 3 days time!!
At 35months, he is such a sweetie! At least once a day, he would run to each of us (mok, myself, my parents and eliora) to tell us that he loves us! How sweet is that!
