Quicker KPE access!!

Was just talking to mister mok about the new KPE entrance at Buangkok East Drive in Sengkang. Mister Mok mentioned that the entrance is very near to our upcoming new flat in SK!! Hurray!!
God is answering our prayer and I'm believing for the transport infrastructure to improve even more and that it'll no longer be as oolu by the time we shift in. hee...

Drove past our new house site the other day and we saw cranes on the site!! It's so exciting!! Seeing it progress from a piece of flat land, to the land being cordoned off and now... with cranes working on it!

Can't wait to have a home that I can call my own!!

Pizza Bizarre!!

My mum passed me some pizza hut coupons and mister mok and I decided to use them over the weekend. Excitedly, we ordered for 2 pizzas and 2 garlic bread (coupon onli comes in pair) and we waited in anticipation for our hot and piping pizzas to arrive. I was quite curious to see how the "Hot" sticker detector works. 35 mins later, the delivery man arrived, only to tell us that they had missed out 1 pizza and of all, it had to be our fav hawaiian pizza!
He promised to get his colleague to send over our pizza asap. And he was so panicky that he forgot to stick the "Hot" sticker on our pizza box. Anyway, we were feeling too ".........." to even bother abt it.
I mean, don't they check the goods out before delivery? At least count that the no. of items tally?

Anyway, the 2nd episode was even more bizarre...
When our missing pizza arrived, Mister Mok double checked with the man that it was a hawaiian pizza, and the man confidently confirmed by putting the "hot" sticker onto the box. And guess what!! The hawaiian pizza turned out to be 10 piece honey roasted drumlets!!!!! OMGosh... we totally wanted to faint.
The man was fortunate that Mister Mok was in an unusually good good mood that day and he calmly called the previous delivery man and asked for our long-awaited HAWAIIAN PIZZA!!!

20 mins later.... the pizza finally arrived!! (and the man still forgot to put the HOT sticker)... I was kinda full by then but the pizza still tasted good.
And the best thing is.... we get to keep the 10 drumlets for free!! Woohooo.... a blessing in disguise... (We were deciding between the drumlets and the garlic bread but chose the later instead) haha... we ended up with both for the price of 1....
Just find the entire episode really bizarre and am amazed at the boo boos that happened. And I didn't get to receive any certified 'HOT' pizzas!!! Only hot drumlets.

Conclusion for all delivery services: PLS check the orders first before sending them out for delivery!!!

XiaoBai is coming home tdy!!

Hurray!! XiaoBai is coming home tdy!! We sent him to the workshop on thurs, to get him fixed up due to a very minor accident sometime back. And I have grown to appreciate Xiaobai (our wonderful white honda jazz) over the past few days. Going to work has been horrendous, having to try to get on the bus during the peak hour is crazy. Day 1 was the worst! Though I have 3 buses to take to work fr home, I couldn get into any of them, and had to 'miss' like 4 of them b4 I could barely squeeze up the 5th one. Got to office rather late that day.... set off earlier the next day, and still couldn't get into the 1st few!! Was soooo frustrated on thurs and had to get myself to cool and settle down when I reached office.

Disclaimer: I'm not spoilt... and am totally alright with going public.. just that these experiences have caused me to really appreciate xiaobai and of course, the wonderful owner too! Journey to work is so much more pleasurable because of both of u! Have kinda taken the rides from mister mok for granted... =) Thanks dear!!

Welcome back Xiao-Bai!! =)
