Snippets from Hong Kong

Long overdued picts from our trip to Hong Kong which also officially marks the end of our wedding ceremony. The trip was rather packed but I enjoyed it alot as this could be considered our first family overseas trip after getting married. And I must say that it went well!!!
Still recovering from some stomach upset thingy (dunno if it's food poisoning or stomach flu).. any case, looking at the food picts here can be rather torturing for me now. Only consolation that I received from the diarrhea: I have lost all the additional weight gained fr the HK trip! Hohoho...!
Some Hong Kong Highlights:
Arrival at Hong Kong Airport!

A superly elated mum & her precious and handsome son =p
All ready to shop and eat and nuah!!
hohoho.. 1st dinner menu: Roasted goose (superly delicious and fattening, but who cares!); pork ribs with sliced apple dish (not used to the cooked apple); white carrot and veg soup (awesome!) and sliced fish with bittergourd (quite awesome)
Check out the roasted goose and the excited look on my dad's face: Can't wait to dig in
Who cares abt Xin Xiang when u have a sliced of roasted goose in our hands! yumz..
Chen Ji Roasted Goose! AWESOME!!!!
Ferry ride to Macau... me brother snoozing away at the back.
Vichy Normaderm!! Haha... we created some interest among the onlookers. Good advertising!
My first time taking the ferry from HK Island to Kowloon
Another round of delicious food: Mother's day celebration Very nice and affordable restaurant at Kowloon Tseun
can't remember the name though
Happy Mother's day! Bestest mums around =)
Waiting for horse race to start:
Like father, like son-in-law?
Like mummy like daughter!!!

YOOOUCKS...

Guess what came out of the toilet paper dispenser this morning in the office toilet cubicle?

A HUGE GIANT COCKROACH!!!!

It just dropped out and flew onto the cubicle's wall. It was so sudden that I even forgot to scream. Part of me really wanted to use my sandals or the toilet paper to squash it.. but thought it'll be really messy considering its HUMONGOUS size.. so mister cockroach's life was spared and he scurried off to the next cubicle.

Freaky la! Super wake up call from mister cockroach.... Yooooucks! Disgusting! Itchy!!

XS Rocks!!!

Had the opportunity to teach at XS Combine Cell last Sat and it was such a refreshing time for me. Was kinda 'nervous' when Ezra asked me if I could speak some 2 months back. Partly excited yet partly afraid that I've gotten too rusty. It's been about more than 8 months? since I last taught at XS.

But I'm glad I took up the offer... it was so great, just to be back to the company. To worship tog with the youths and I was sharing with them that it felt so natural for me to wanna take the mic and exhort the ppl after worship. But good that I controlled myself. Felt rather weird that I'm the guest speaker though. Heh...

I focused on Psalm 1:1-3 that evening and I'm just so thankful to God when I see lives touched and ministered by the H.S.
I love teaching His Word and ministering to ppl... and I actually do miss such times. Just gotta pray and seek.
Though I'm not sure what's in store for me in the long run... but I know that I'm following after the One who Knows... =)

Quicker KPE access!!

Was just talking to mister mok about the new KPE entrance at Buangkok East Drive in Sengkang. Mister Mok mentioned that the entrance is very near to our upcoming new flat in SK!! Hurray!!
God is answering our prayer and I'm believing for the transport infrastructure to improve even more and that it'll no longer be as oolu by the time we shift in. hee...

Drove past our new house site the other day and we saw cranes on the site!! It's so exciting!! Seeing it progress from a piece of flat land, to the land being cordoned off and now... with cranes working on it!

Can't wait to have a home that I can call my own!!

IF NOT NOW THEN WHEN?
IF NOT YOU THEN WHO?
