The month of Feb and March 08' have left me overwhelmed and filled with thanksgiving for God!
First it was a confirmation of what I have been receiving from God with regards to my ministry change as I began praying since Sept last year.
There was a prompting in me to start praying for what's to come for my ministry and job since Aug/ Sept last year, and most of what I received whenever I prayed were, "Feb 08'" and that the "year of 2008' would be a year of transition" for me.
The last quarter of 07' was really tough for me as I grappled with the mixed emotions I had, to leave or not. And what's next to come? So many times, I wanted to hear more from God, like give me a definite yes or no, or show me immediately what's to come. But all I received was that a clearer answer would come in Feb 08'.
Meanwhile, a desire to return to the marketplace and to reach out to the lost was stirring within me. And it was especially directed towards the delinquent youths.
I was like, "sure anot?" and I couldn't make sense of it all until.....
..... Feb came, before I even realised it, everything came into place, and His voice got clearer and clearer.
It was a time of learning for me. Many times when I was getting all confused about my decision to leave or stay, with many voices telling me what to do, His assurance and instruction was always so loud and clear: "Listen and take heed to My guidance and direction and follow My promptings. You know My voice, so follow it."
So, I'll be starting my new job in 1.5 weeks time. 1st April!! Haven't really preped myself yet, but I know that His grace will be sufficient for me and He'll provide!
Secondly, I got the sweetest surprise ever. Larry and myself got engaged on the 3rd of March 08'. He proposed at the airport, once he touched down from HK, something that I never ever thought would happen to me! Feels like something that would only happen in the movies! But yes, he did it...at the airport... =)
Everything just happened so quickly and I'm moving to another season of my life. I can only give thanks to God and testify of the goodness and faithfulness of God.
Though we might not see or comprehend what lies ahead, but the One who is the Beginning and the End does.
And He reveals at His timing and is faithful and true to accomplish all that He has promised to us.
Our part is to draw near, pray and hold fast to His word and promise, and allow Him to work for us.
I worship the true and living God!!

Strength!!
"He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction goes astray."
(Proverbs 10:17)
"The way of the Lord is strength for the upright..."
(Proverbs 10:29)
The way of life is found by those who seek and who chooses to heed the instruction of the Lord, and as we heed His word, He not only imparts wisdom and light, but with His word comes the strength to carry on.
The strength to press on and press in to walk out life on earth. The strength to go through trials and challenges and not be fainthearted, the strength to obey, the strength to withstand the doubts and fiery darts that comes your way as you ponder if you are walking in the right direction.
When we choose to keep walking in the way of the Lord, there's the divine impartation of strength, the strengthening of our inner man. PTL!!!
So never stop hearing and never quit walking in the way of the Lord, and obey as He instructs for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:22)

Let there be light in our words!!
There's power in our words. And what great and tremendous power there will be made available if we tap into God's wisdom and understanding.
God was just showing me yesterday during my morning prayer about the tremendous power that He wants me to tap into through my speech.
For "by wisdom the Lord laid the earth's foundation, by understanding he sets the heavens in place;
by His knowledge, the deeps were divided and the clouds let down dew." (Proverbs 3:19-20)
Wisdom that has been with God since the beginning of it all. The wisdom that's of above, divine and powerful, the wisdom that originates from God, the very essence of God is wisdom.
"For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light,
and the corrections of discipline are the way of life..." (Proverbs 6:23)
So tap into God's wisdom:
"Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice?" (Proverbs 8:1)
"Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget My words or swerve from them. Do not forsake wisdom and she will protect you; love her and she will watch over you." (Proverbs 4:5-6)
When we strive to get wisdom and understanding and as we choose to speak forth words of wisdom, than there's tremendous power available, power to bring forth light in situations, power to set the captives and bounded free, power to heal and even to save, empowered to do the very works of Jesus.
"The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." (Luke 4:18)
"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat it's fruit." (Proverbs 18:21)
May my words be one that's saturated with wisdom, as I pay attention to Your Word and commands.
Just as King Solomon chose wisdom over other wealth, and You said that it was a good thing that he asked for. I too want more of your wisdom and understanding.
I want to be able to see, hear and say things with Your perspective.
Oh God, use me as Your vessel. And as I speak, let me be Your mouthpiece, to speak forth your truth and love, a vessel that releases your light and grace.

In awe
It is only today that I have such a great realization of the importance of having the blessings of my pastor. I didn't know that just by having her acknowledgement and support for the pending decision that I am to make ahead would give me such a great sense of assurance, peace and joy.
Tears filled my eyes when she was praying for me this morning, I was touched, and more, I felt confident... because I know that my pastor, the overseer that God has placed over me is supporting me.
I know that I have the green light from her, and more importantly, I know that I have done my part to be accountable to her.
After being a believer for 10+ years, this is the first time I come so close to encountering the joy of submitting and the great peace and strength that one can receive when you know that your pastor affirms you and is watching over you.
God is soooo good. I can only stand in awe of all that you're doing in my life.
Show me your face O God
Make my heart pure as gold
Standing in awe of You
Your love, it surrounds me forever
Show me your face O God
I want to know You more
I want to stand, right here with You
All of my days
